Writer as (self) criticA National Association of Writers in Education Conference
Lancaster University, 18-19 November 2005
Are critical and creative writing at odds with each other? Where do the roles of writer, critic and teacher overlap? Or collide? Which comes first, your critical or creative self?
Through a full programme of workshops and seminars, this conference will address these and other important questions in the teaching, study and practice of creative writing.
This will be of interest to all writers, particularly those working in education.
NAWE conferences bring together writers, teachers and students of writing and all those interested in literature development to share skills, experience and ideas. Attendance costs £25 for members of NAWE, £40 for non-members and £10 for students.
For more information on the programme or to book, go to www.nawe.co.uk, email joanna@nawe.co.uk or call 020 8670 5407.
